MY AMERICAN HOMESTAY takes pride in maintaining our good reputation and upholding only the highest of standards.
MY AMERICAN HOMESTAY works directly with the high school’s Admissions/Registrar Department throughout the admissions process to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
MY AMERICAN HOMESTAY serves as the liaison between the school, the host family, and the students’ overseas agency in all aspects of the student exchange program. MY AMERICAN HOMESTAY also provides our students with excellent insurance coverage, meeting or exceeding U.S. Department of State requirements, for the duration of their time in the U.S.
All F-1 visa international students are responsible for payment of private day, boarding, or public high school tuition, school fees, as well as SEVIS fees, home stay fees, and guardianship.
Our MY AMERICAN HOMESTAY students undergo a comprehensive application process. All students are required to complete a School and/or homestay application, which ensures that they meet a certain threshold for academic achievement, English proficiency, and homestay program requirements.
ACADEMIC GUIDANCE & COUNSELING SUPPORT
Each student is assigned a MY AMERICAN HOMESTAY International Student Coordinator. The MY AMERICAN HOMESTAY Coordinator is there to provide our students and host families with guidance and counseling support throughout the program. Through our International Student Coordinators, MY AMERICAN HOMESTAY monitors the academic growth and homestay progress of all of our students, which is then reported back to the overseas agencies and schools. We strive that our students maintain a grade “C” or better in all classes and work with the school to provide additional academic assistance to students in need. Our goal is to foster young global leaders.
